The process
STEP 1

Establishing your goals

We meet with you at your restaurant or operation to visit with you about your goals, challenges, and most importantly your needs.  Our job at this stage is to listen to you, establish goals, and develop a plan. We will also discuss Murdoch Consulting cost of services and develop an appropriate plan for your budget.

STEP 2

Information gathering

Once we have identified your goals, we gather and collect all relevant information that can help us understand your business  better. That includes recipes, cooking procedures, training procedure, P&L statement, sales, labor cost, online reviews, and POS reports.

STEP 3

Site visit

After we collected and analyzed all the information you provided, it is time to visit your restaurant. We usually stay three days and observe how your restaurant and staff operate. We look at your opening and closing procedures, shift change, prepping, cooking, services, kitchen lay out, equipment list, ticket time, and employees' attitudes. We basically take a look "under the hood" to see how your business perform not on paper but in real time.

STEP 4

Strategy and solutions

After comparing how your business actually operates versus how it should, based on the info you provided us, we are able to highlights gaps, inefficiencies, issues, and strengths. We then meet with you again to provide you with a comprehensive reports and to discuss strategy and solutions. 

STEP 5

Implementation

Finally after you agree on the course of actions, we help you implement the plan; establishing measurable goals and reviewing your progress as needed. We will not simply leave with a "Good luck" folder.MURDOCH CONSULTING will help you insure that the solutions and strategy are implemented, that the changes are sustained, and that you are on track with results.
